Many kids are homeschooled throughout their high school years with great success. And the neat thing about homeschooling is that now you get to learn all that stuff you slept through while you were attending public school. If you stay a page or two ahead of your student, you can teach them anything! And many homeschoolers and public school kids take college courses while attending high school. So, if you absolutely can't teach a subject, your child can always take it at the local community college. Many homeschoolers do decide to attend the public school during their high school years, but don't feel like you can't teach your children just because they have reached the high school age.
